BLS For Healthcare Providers​

Blended Learning- Online & Classroom

Course Length: 3 Hours 

Who will benefit: MD, RN, MA, CNA, Emergency response teams, medical office staff, nursing home staff, dentist, pharmacist.

The American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) training provides individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction or opioid overdose. When someone experiences a life-threatening emergency, healthcare providers, and public safety professionals need to act swiftly and promptly. This training highlights the importance of providing high-quality care with critical thinking and problem solving to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Consists of active hands on learning.  Meets OSHA/workplace requirement's. Successful students will receive an American Red Cross certificate for 2 years​.

Bloodborne Pathogens​

Course Length: 1 Hour

Who will benefit: tattoo artist, MD's, RN's, dentists medical assistant's and other healthcare aides, laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, permanent make-up artist, microblading, micropigmentation, body art professionals.

American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens training teaches participants how to protect themselves and others from exposure to bloodborne pathogens on the job, and what to do if an exposure occurs. The training will prepare participants to make appropriate decisions about preventing bloodborne pathogen disease transmission. Meets OSHA/workplace requirement's. Students will receive an American Red Cross certificate for 1 year.

Virtual CPR & Safety Workshop

Course Length: 1.5 Hours

Would you know what to do if your baby or child in your care was choking? This virtual workshop is for those who do not need a certification for a job. Babysitter’s Training

Babysitter’s Training course provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. The training consists of interactive lessons featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills such as First aid/CPR , how to care for someone who is choking, and how to care for sudden illnesses . Participants will also learn how to develop a babysitting business such as build a babysitting resume, develop leadership skills and keep themselves and others safe.

  • How to develop a babysitting business

  • Caring for kids from feeding to bedtime

  • How to perform CPR on adult child and infant

  • How to care for someone who is choking - adult, child and infant

  • How to perform basic first aid such as scrapes, cuts, burns, muscle, bone, and joint injuries

FAST First Aid For Severe Trauma

A National STOP THE BLEED course

This Training will help prepare you to provide lifesaving care when unexpected emergencies happen in your home, at your place of work, or in your community. Training will help prepare you to recognize severe, life-threatening bleeding emergencies and feel EMPOWERED to take action to stop the flow of blood, and potentially save a life.

  • What action steps to take in a life-threatening bleeding emergency

  • When to use a tourniquet

  • How to apply tourniquets
